Domain name registration (Nominet)

Terms for .UK domains registered through Pulse Digital

Pulse Digital Enterprises Ltd (trading as Pulse Digital Marketing) is a Nominet member and registers and manages .UK domain names (including .uk, .co.uk, .org.uk, .me.uk and, where offered, other Nominet namespaces) in line with Nominet’s rules and the contractual framework between Nominet, tag holders and registrants.

When you register or renew a .UK domain through us, you enter into a contract with Nominet (the .UK registry) as well as with us. The definitive terms that apply to your domain are Nominet’s published policies and the registrant agreement in force at the time. We summarise our role and your main obligations below; if anything here conflicts with Nominet’s current wording, Nominet’s terms prevail.

Key Nominet resources (please read the versions that apply to your registration):

Our role

We act as your registrar (or through arrangements with our suppliers, as the point of contact for registration services). We submit registration, renewal and management requests to Nominet on your behalf, collect applicable fees, and provide support in line with our service description and these terms.

We will apply Nominet’s requirements for registrant data, identity verification where required, transfers (including IPS tag changes where relevant), and suspension or deletion of domains when required by policy or law.

Registrant details & accuracy

You must provide accurate and up-to-date registrant contact details and keep them updated. You are responsible for ensuring that the person or entity named as registrant is correctly identified and has authority to hold the domain. False or misleading information can lead to suspension or loss of the domain under Nominet’s policies.

Fees, renewal & expiry

Registration and renewal fees are charged as agreed with you (quote, invoice or checkout). Domains are registered for the term you select; renewal is your responsibility unless we have agreed managed renewal. If a domain expires, Nominet’s rules on grace periods, redemption and release apply; we are not liable for loss of a domain due to non-payment or failure to renew in time.

Transfers

Transfers of .UK domains between registrars follow Nominet’s transfer policy (including use of the IPS tag where applicable). You may be charged transfer or administration fees as agreed. We will not unreasonably block a transfer where Nominet’s rules require it to proceed.

Disputes & complaints

Disputes over who should hold a .UK domain may fall under Nominet’s Dispute Resolution Service (DRS) and related policies. General service complaints about how we have applied Nominet’s rules may be raised with us in the first instance and, where appropriate, with Nominet — see our Complaints and appeal procedures page and Nominet – Complaints.

Data protection

We process personal data relating to domain registrations to perform our contract with you and to meet Nominet and legal obligations (including publication of WHOIS or registration data as required by Nominet’s policies). For more detail, see our privacy information provided at the time of registration and any privacy policy we publish.

Changes

Nominet may update its policies and registrant terms; continued use of a domain after changes may constitute acceptance as set out by Nominet. We may update this page to reflect material changes to how we offer domain services.
